Our theme verse provides instructions for LIVING REAL LIFE. 1 Timothy 6:19 makes it clear that taking hold of that which is truly life requires a foundation made of treasure. Anything less is not actually living real life, but instead, living a fake life.

Unfortunately, our youth are inundated and overwhelmed with fake living. Fake life is presented as the highest accomplishment and purpose one can attain. It's a life where youth hide behind a plethora of Instagram and TikTok filters, and no one is comfortable with the faces or bodies that God gave them. It's a life of pretending and role-playing, living vicariously through YouTube channels and video games, engaging in worlds that do not represent reality and never could. Living this fake life provides nothing of substance for the present and does not equip our youth for the future in this life or the life beyond. It's a life without any ability to maintain meaningful or lasting relationships, a life that simply ricochets from one delusion to the next as each one is exposed for the fraud that it is.

For that reason, LIVING REAL LIFE rejects the fake life and the phoney disguises of this world to pursue that which is truly life. LIVING REAL LIFE is not just a theme; it's our high calling as believers.
